The voice coil motor based on the Ampere force principle is a simple electromagnetic device that requires no direction change. Voice coil motors have a fast, smooth, toothless, hysteresis-free response and are ideally suited for high speed, high acceleration, linear force or torque response control.
With their long life and high frequency response, voice coil motors play an important role in a variety of precision drive industries. Proper installation and integration ensures optimal performance and contributes to the success of these applications.
The range of cylindrical voice coil motors is used in a wide range of applications. These motors have high acceleration and are capable of generating strong forces from 0.7N to 1000N with a stroke of less than 50 mm.
