The VCAP series flat linear voice coil motors and rectangular linear voice coil motors have relatively shorter travels for the same volume, but flat linear voice coil motors have the advantage of lower height. With a force range of up to 500N and an impact force of up to 15mm, the VCAP series of flat linear voice coil motors are ideal for x-y axis motion, with their main markets in the semiconductor and miniature machine tool industries.
The Flat Voice Coil Motor is a linear drive based on the Lorentz force principle: when current passes through a coil embedded in a magnetic field, the coil is pushed to achieve linear motion. Its tight, customizable flat shape makes it suitable for integration into laser cutting heads or high-precision stages.
The application of flat linear voice coil motors in semiconductor laser cutting is mainly in the aspects of high precision positioning, high response speed and frictionless transmission, which meets the extremely high requirements of modern microelectronics manufacturing for dynamic performance and reliability at the nanometer level.
