The VCAR series cylindrical voice coil motors account for nearly 80% of the market share. They can generate high thrust with high acceleration. With a modular design, their peak force range is from 0.7N to 3000N. Typically, their travel length is less than 50mm. The VCAR series voice coil motor modules are applied in valve actuators, Z-axis pick-and-place devices, small precision metering pumps, as well as vibrators and active vibration damping systems. The application markets cover medical, semiconductor, aerospace, and automotive fields.
In medical equipment, voice coil motor modules are core components that leverage their high precision, low noise, and fast response characteristics to meet the stringent requirements for motion control during diagnosis and treatment. In minimally invasive surgical robots, these modules serve as the end-effectors of the robot's operating arms, such as forceps and scissors. Voice coil motor modules can achieve micrometer-level motion control, allowing doctors to perform delicate operations via a console, such as vascular suturing and tumor resection, thereby avoiding risks associated with hand tremors.
