The VCAZ0020-0040-00A multi directional flexible vibrating tray voice coil motor is the driving heart of a modern flexible feeding platform. Instead of a single rigid vibratory bowl, the system mounts several voice coil actuators along the X, Y and Z axes so the flexible tray can move parts in every direction and even flip them over. Powered by SUPT MOTION's VCAZ series direct-drive actuator with a 20.5 N peak force and 3 mm stroke, the platform disperses irregular-shaped precision parts across the surface with high acceleration, and each axis can be tuned separately for the exact motion a workpiece needs.

Irregular and asymmetric parts are the hardest to feed because they nest, overlap and jam on conventional vibratory bowls. The multi directional flexible vibrating tray solves this by combining horizontal X and Y actuators with a vertical Z actuator, so parts can be spread, separated, rotated and flipped without any rigid collision with the tray. Because the coil is driven directly by current, response is fast and acceleration is high, and the amplitude and frequency on every axis are precisely controllable through the drive electronics. Integrated with an adjustable backlight and a machine vision camera, the tray lets the robot locate each part and pick it in the correct orientation, turning a difficult feeding problem into a smooth, repeatable process that adapts to almost any workpiece simply by loading a new drive program.
