Voice coil motors, characterized by high acceleration, high precision, rapid response, high speed and limited travel.The SUPTMOTION voice coil motor model VCAR0044-0040-00A features a 4mm travel range. They enable ultra-high precision positioning within 3D inspection systems, with their core function being to achieve minute, swift, and accurate displacement. This ensures optical systems efficiently capture high-quality 3D information.
Voice coil motors are commonly employed in 3D inspection optical systems for focusing microscopes, white light interferometers, and planar scanning. Within focusing microscopes, the motor's closed-loop control continuously monitors image sharpness variations, dynamically adjusting drive current until it stabilizes at the optimal focal plane. Its precision displacement enables nanometer-level vertical movement of the objective lens along the Z-axis, enabling rapid autofocus.
In white-light interferometers, the interferometer module is mounted on a precision stage driven by a voice coil motor. This drives the entire interferometer module to move vertically along the Z-axis, enabling uniform and precise scanning of the height range of the measured object. The smoothness, linearity, and high resolution of the voice coil motor's motion determine the measurement accuracy of the three-dimensional topography.
